Once again I am writing about Instagram.
Are they trying to kill the business, or just inept and relying on AI computers to run their business. I have first hand knowledge of their business model having had an account for most of 2019, and with over 7500 followers. But time after time I get problems, and I am not the only one, I have contact with users who have a lot more followers than me, twice as much if not more. We have experienced problems over the months with Instagram, but currently it has become even worse. They seem to have changed their algorithm and it is a major problem. If you use ig you will know you click onto anyone who wants to follow you, but what I am experiencing is you click on, click on and once more you do, the name keeps returning so you could click on a dozen or more times.
Now you would think ok just get in touch with ig and tell them the problem, oh no this is not possible, they never answer any of the normal avenues of contact (as written about in previous blog) they in fact have taken down all email contact expecting you to use their app to make contact. Yes maybe a good idea, but no its not they never answer you however many times you send a question.
So what do I think, well I think their business model is too successful they have lost focus on one part, us the user they have no interest at all.
I have posted about Instagram before but they are getting worse, whether its AI or human control they are out of control!!!
This is Vanessa Pur, she woke up on a Sunday and her Instagram account of sum 100.000 followers was closed. After campaigning against Instagram they re-instated the account and all her followers. Since this happened she posted the picture above showing her thighs. She has tights on, she has a dress on, yet they blocked her account. She has now decided to not bother with Instagram having being treated so shabbily and i do not blame her.
I have had the same problems with my account (not showing my thighs) but having my account blocked. They do it for no reason what so ever. Its a frustrating situation with no feedback from Instagram as a company.
Wake up Facebook and get control of your business, stop treating fair people badly.
So here we go again with Instagram, I have been locked out of my account for a total of three days now. I have two accounts with over 8500 followers, but for some reason i am locked out. And of course the big thing is, you cannot find out why, no one tells you, its all computerized so a machine is doing this not a human being. It tells you something about technology that maybe we should be worried about. Now don’t get me wrong, i love technology, i love gadgets so i am not against it but sometimes , just maybe we need a human view as well. Now over these three days i cannot follow or unfollow anyone, and my account has dropped by fifty followers in this time.
Now that is nothing, a german instagramer lost 100,000 followers and had her account closed, Vanesa pur had her account closed overnight for no reason at all. But fighting for her 100k followers she managed to get her account open and all followers back.

This is my latest piece of kit I have purchased for my YouTube project. You know what the say, without the tools you cant do the job. Well I bought a very cheap stand, never again as the smooth 4 gimble broke it half.
That will never happen with this Neewer, this is a superb piece of kit, it is made of stainless steel, the legs adjust to every angle you could want. And it has even got a spirit level to adjust the legs, even I am impressed and I am a complete newbie at all this. It comes with a velvet carry bag, but like all these items a leather one is available at a cost of course. The price on Amazon is 42.94€ but in my view well worth the money.
This post is all about Instagram and the trouble with trying to get in touch with them.
Have you ever tried getting in touch with Instagram, through their app, by telephone, twitter or email its impossible.
If you go through the app telling them you have a problem, it never gets resolved, you never hear from them. Ok what about on the telephone, forget that they never answer. Ok we will email them, no again a waste of time, I have experience with this , I emailed them fifty times in twelve hours with absolutely no response at all. Ok lets try twitter, you can also forget that the same story as all the other ways.
We all know that Instagram is massive with something like a billion users, but there has got to a way of getting through to them, maybe it will change, maybe for the better we can all hope.
I now have a YouTube channel, Barry Haylor All About Spain
This is all about Spain, the people, restaurants, the area I live in, on the Northern Costa Blanca. Videos uploaded every Wednesday for you to watch and enjoy.
Part 1 ‘All about Spain’, well I have been asked to explain a few things about living in Spain.
How difficult is it to move to Spain, what are the legal things I would need to know, is it expensive to live there, what about the language problems.
Well expensive I would say in general not, cars are expensive as are motorcycles if you buy one. Regarding running costs, fuel I find pretty much the same as the UK. Car tax is incredible, I have an eco car and my tax was 18.95€ for the year. You have to an ITV on your car every two years up to the age of ten years. ITV is about 40€ approx. which is good value for a two year period and proves the vehicle is road worthy. In regards to servicing, we have all the main dealers operating in Spain but also have independent garages.
This is another part of what you need if you are recording on a mobile. This is the correct connection and will make sure your Rode microphone works well
Amazon price 9.90€
With 2 male genders
Plated gold connectors
2 x Jack 3.5 mm connector adapter
Length of 40 cm
I have now launched my YouTube channel, the channel is the same as my Instagram page, All About Spain.
Basically you will see videos of the Marina Alta on the Northern Costa Blanca, all the towns, villages, visiting restaurants and different types of businesses including hotels.
If you have any questions on Spain please email me or DM me on Instagram.

I visited The Central Market, known as the Mercado Central Valencia on the 16th April 2019. This was my first visit to the Central Market and I was blown away by not only the contents, the fruit, the meats, the cheese but by the building itself.
This building was built between the 1914 and 1928 architect Enrique Viedma Vidal, the design is of Valencian Art Nouveau. This market is one of the biggest in Europe and definitely one of the best, in my opinion. It consists of 8000 square meters on two floors. The dome I found incredible, its a stunning architectural design. The roof is full of wood, steel girders with coloured glass at the rear entrance. The roof has different sections which are sloping in different directions. If you have never been to the Central Market Valencia than you must definitely put it on your bucket list.
